This Is A 10 Days’ Immersive Educational Experience for Up to 15 People Which Includes:

You will be hosted at ASART house is located in Escazu, a nice neighborhood in San Jose, surrounded by mini supermarkets, restaurants and the biggest mall at a walking distance. The house is equipped with instruments, theater clothing, art supplies, computers, WIFI, art, art therapy and expressive art books, and others. You’ll be assigned a room. There are only two vacancies per year. There is security 24 hours a day.

215 H PREPARATION, REFLECTION, NOTE-TAKING AND RESEARCH

At ASART house you’ll have everything to support your preparation, reflections, note taking and research. We’ll explore playing with art and have art-based research assignments. We we’ll define, design and evaluate a program, you will learn more about arts-based research and media & communication. You’ll be assigned readings for that purpose. You’ll be assisting community interventions such as murals or other activities.

250 H CLIENT CONTACT HOURS

Once we have the written project design, we will make it happen while working in ASART programs in San José. You’ll have the freedom to choose goal population, and you’ll be able to witness how we link the programs to the private and public sector to create bigger impact.
